Cool Have you ever Twittered?

We had an interesting & highliy interactive Web2.0 Network Workshop today. We all are now twittering?

We all have joined the online texting culture and the celeb's to become twitter's...

What is it? Good question and probably the best place to start is this blog which gives a business introduction to Twitter:

Arrow still on twitter

If you are interested in twitter just follow a person who interests you and see what is happening I found some nice contacts through twitter and also researched some new business opportunities. Because of people following you you will have new connections coming to you and if you are not interested you do not have to give a reply.
Have you tried it, are you already on it? Let us know. Love to follow you.

Default

I have been using Twitter now for 2 weeks and still learning. I use it to post and receive messages to a network of contacts instead of sending e-mails or text messages. I also use Twitter to promote my blogs especially if I would like feedback on the blog. I use Twitter to watch and follow other colleagues in the tourism trade and it gives me an insight as what is happening and keeps me up to date with currents trends. I find it a more friendly way to keep in contact with friends and give a more human side to a message. I am still very new to tweeting and have a lot more to learn, it seems to be what all the bigger organisations are doing, they must find it of value to their business, so why not give it a go and see how it works for you. If you would like to tweet me on the following link http://twitter.com/Eonishgirl

Arrow twitter

Like your "Miss Busy" and your profile photo on twitter is lovely.Geraldine just check your twitter link again, it did not work for me, unless twitter has a breakdown due to to much traffic.
Is anybody else on twitter please let us know so we can build another communication network through twitter and let's see how it works for us.
This year trying anything is worth the effort.

Default Twitter

Once you are comfortable with Twitter you should start using TwitterMap.com or TwitterLocal.net; you will get access to all the happenings in any given area.

Also if you are posting links in your 'tweets' whether to your own site or an article, i recommend using www.BudUrl.com to shrink the size of the URL. The beauty of this site is that it also allows you to track how many people have clicked on the URL, enabling you to track what postings are popular and get peoples attention.

Default Twitter and tweeting

Well it took me a while to feel comfortable with the tweeting thing but I must say I think I like it better than facebook. It seems to be quicker and easier to follow and connect with others. And it is certainly quicker to down load on the dreaded dialup
I have found some interesting tweeters to follow including a 'handmade forum' which is interesting. So I will stick with it and see how it goes....
